GRAPA presents Pride and Prejudice
Jane Austen’s much-loved Pride and Prejudice comes to life in a lively stage adaptation by Janet Munsil, presented by the Griffith and Regional Association of the Performing Arts (GRAPA). Directed by Jenny Ellis and Romina Tappi, the production showcases local actors from Griffith, Leeton and surrounds.
Expect country balls, family drama, romantic misunderstandings and Austen’s trademark wit as determined young women navigate love and expectations. With evening performances, a Sunday matinee and a special school performance across 5–7 and 14–15 November, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy this classic tale.

National Contemporary Jewellery Award 2026
The 2026 National Contemporary Jewellery Award exhibition showcases works by over 20 of Australia’s finest contemporary jewellers. Recognising excellence and innovation in contemporary jewellery practice, the Award offers two prizes: the $5,000 acquisitive National Contemporary Jewellery Award and the $1,000 non-acquisitive Design Excellence Award.
The exhibition opening invites visitors to enjoy Dee Vine Estate wines and canapés alongside special guest judges, celebrating the newest addition to Griffith Regional Art Gallery’s prestigious National Contemporary Jewellery Collection.

Griffith To Temora Rail Trail & Lunch
Climb Aboard a Vintage Train for a Scenic Lunch Escape from Griffith to Temora
This one-day rail journey rolls through the heart of the Riverina, winding past golden farmland and country landscapes before arriving in Temora for a leisurely afternoon.
Once there, you'll have more than two hours to wander the town, settle into a local pub or café for lunch, browse boutiques and antique stores, or simply enjoy Temora's relaxed country charm. (Lunch is at your own expense.)

Lockhart Spirit Of The Land Festival
The Spirit of the Land Festival is a colourful and vibrant celebration of the land. With fine and Indigenous art, photo exhibitions, extensive high-quality markets, fabulous foods, open gardens, live music, farm tours, vintage vehicles and the Leeton Lions train rides, the Festival is a fantastic experience for friends and family to enjoy.
A highlight of the Festival is the National Farm Art Awards, featuring an incredible display of farm art sculptures fashioned from recycled metal, rusty old farm materials and elements of the land. With a substantial prize for the overall winner, these unique sculptures are more than good, they are amazing!
Mirrool Silo Kick
One of those events absolutely not to be missed, the annual Mirrool Silo Kick is back, and yes, someone will once again attempt to boot a Sherrin over a set of towering concrete silos.
What started in the ’80s as a casual $50 bet, when Riverina local and AFL legend Billy Brownless returned home for a wedding and casually launched a footy over the Mirrool silos, has become one of the region’s most gloriously unhinged (and beloved) annual traditions.
These days, it’s less a “backyard dare” and more a country, family-fun affair. We’re talking jumping castles, mini train rides, slushies, fairy floss and ice cream vans for the small humans. Plus, kids’ football and netball comps with cash and prizes, tug-of-war showdowns, a gumboot throwing comp (naturally) and a fiercely contested ladies’ netball shoot-off.
For the grown-ups? An all-day BBQ and bar, plenty of sideline commentary and a whole lot of small-town spirit.
It’s chaotic. It’s nostalgic. It’s raising serious funds for charity (over $200k and counting). And it’s exactly the kind of road-trip-worthy Riverina event you didn’t know you needed in your calendar.

Helicopter Joy Rides at DeBortoli Wines
Best NSW Wine, renowned gardens and now… a view from above.
It’s been a big season for De Bortoli Wines in Bilbul, with the 2022 DEEN Vat 5 Botrytis Semillon recently named Best NSW Wine and Best Sweet Wine at the 2026 Sydney Royal Wine Show.
With the renowned 14-acre Emeri’s Garden in bloom, for the first time you can take it all in from above, with 10-minute helicopter joy flights over the garden and Binya Hills on Sunday 4 October.
Back on the ground, wander the garden, explore the cellar door and, of course, stay for a glass or two.

Booligal Sheep Races
The Booligal Sheep Races are a truly unique outback event that has been running for over 20 years. The day features heats of 5 sheep all vying to take out the Booligal Cup.
Visitors can hire a sheep on the day to race for just $50. There is plenty of space to settle in for the day with your own picnic or enjoy a steak sandwich from the all-day BBQ.
Kids activities make it a day for the whole family. Entry is $10.00
Lockhart Picnic Races
The lively Lockhart Picnic Races are back, continuing racing in the Lockhart Shire. The Picnics have continued to draw crowds from near and far and has long been considered one of the best races in country New South Wales.
There is plenty of time to enjoy a picnic lunch trackside before the racing commences.
Food will be available to purchase on the day. All you need to bring is your drinks!
Fashion and style are always an important part of any race day and Lockhart Picnic Races are no exception, with one of the race day highlights being the hotly contested judging of Fashions on the Field!
Regal Estate Spring Fest
This year SpringFest is partnering up with the WATCH, MAKE, TAKE Arts Weekend being held in the Bland Shire with a LIVE painting being completed by the very talented artist Rebecca Cumming at Regal Estate which will be auctioned during the evening.
There will be delicious food with an ongoing Grazing Table and an evening BBQ along with a great selection of drinks to enjoy in a picturesque vineyard setting.
A monster raffle will be drawn along with lucky door prizes.
Picnic blankets and table reservations welcome.

The first Italian migrants brought their viticulture, market gardening skills and passion for food & cooking to Griffith. Old traditions like salami making, preserving olives and sauce days are continued enthusiastically. A Taste of Italy Griffith is a week-long celebration of the Italian culture and heritage that is so unique to Griffith. 116th Annual Show - Another fun filled program this year celebrating agriculture in our region with animals, grain, fleece, produce and young leaders in agriculture all on show.
