Every June long weekend the Sikh community holds a two-day event at Ted Scobie Oval against the backdrop of Scenic Hill in Griffith. '

Enjoy traditional Indian cuisine throughout the day, soccer, tug-o-war, kabaddi; a wrestling sport originating from the northern part of the Indian state of Punjab, and athletic events for the kids.

This popular cultural event attracts thousands of people to Griffith from around Australia and overseas, to compete in and watch the games and enjoy the celebrations.
